About Peyton Michelle Edwards
Peyton Michelle Edwards is an actor/writer/director with a passion for storytelling. She trained at UNC, earning a BA in dramatic art as well as Spanish literature and culture. Now based in NYC, she has performed in countless independent film projects, including family drama Patterns (coming 2024), fantasy thriller Faerie (coming 2024), thriller Goodbye Honey (2020), and indie romance Weekenders (2021), where Peyton starred in her theatrical debut. Peyton made her NY theater debut during the SheNYC festival and continually develops new work for stage and screen as a member of The Play Ground Experiment. Peyton considers her time acting on indie film sets as her film school and is largely self-taught and peer-taught when it comes to writing, directing, and editing. Skateboard (short) is her directorial debut, which she proudly wrote and edited with the help of long time collaborator and producer of Skateboard, Matthew Brennan.
When she is not acting, reading, or writing, Peyton spends time with her favorite humans, makes the great escape to nature, or snuggles with her pet rabbit, Eloise. |
