About Peyton Michelle Edwards
Born and raised in the South, actor/writer Peyton Michelle Edwards proudly trained at UNC, earning a BA in dramatic art as well as Spanish literature and culture. Now based in NYC, she has appeared in over 20 independent film projects, including recently released thriller feature Goodbye Honey (2020). Peyton made her NY theater debut during the SheNYC festival and continually develops new work for stage and screen as a member of The PlayGround Experiment. After starring in Erik Bloomquist’s horror short She Came from the Woods (2017), Peyton had the immense pleasure of collaborating with Erik on Weekenders (2021), her first theatrical release. She recently wrapped two comedic short films, including Yes Mother! directed by Misha Calvert, and is currently writing her own future directorial debut!
An avid storyteller, Peyton Michelle Edwards has put pen to paper and "played pretend" since childhood. Her passion for artistic expression is born from the idea that it is one of the greatest forms of human empathy and connection. When she is not acting, reading, or writing, she spends time with her favorite humans, makes the great escape to nature, or snuggles with her pet rabbit, Eloise.
